The Time for Evaluating and Planning

ecember,as the last month in every year always be a special month. The word special doesn`t always mean a good time but it means different or uncommon. Most of people say that December as a evaluation time for one year past and the time to make a new plan to face toward one year.
In 2008,there is something special with our December. There is a very rare phenomenon because the time of new year in Hijriyah Calendar almost same as the Christian Calendar. I think there is some messages from the One who creates the time to be done by all of people in this world. And the most important issue that need to be realize immediately is peace.
I`m sure that all of you know about so many kinds of event that occurs in 2008. Lets take a review begin from January where the people of Gaza broke the wall separated Egypt and Palestine. The sign which indicate the endless war between Palestine and Israel. In February ,Philipine ,there was an effort from Alfredo Reinado`s people to attack Ramos Horta`s house, result in killed Reinado and serious injury of Ramos Horta. In March, Tibet was full of blood. Ninety nine people killed by insurgent. In August , Russia attacked Georgia. In September, Islamabad, Pakistan, was bombed by selfmurder terrorist in JW Marriot Hotel,53 dead and 266 got injuries. And the recent news that close our year badly was an attacking done by terrorist to 9 different place in Mumbai , Indian. The victims who dead were 188 person, and so many people injured by that attacking.
Every year we always celebrate the new year moment by happiness, and we do it again and again. Almost every year we forget about the essential or the true meaning of new year. We tend to consider whenever you are, it is same ,just like we move from 2008 to 2009. As a normal person, I think it is an abnormalities if we just think like that. Never want to evaluate what have you done and also never want to make a new schedule to face toward. Many bad events occurred in 2008 should be the best material for evaluation whether we have done a good thing or bad thing. Whether we still have and make an enemy and blame each others.
Human is human. They have heart and feeling. They also have instinct to live in peacefulness. But why they still attack each others , imposed their own interest ,never think about others` rights. What`s wrong with us? We must aware that we live in pluralistic world. There are so many culture, religion and ethnics, we can`t avoid that. Differences is not a reason for us to permit the occurrence of violence between us. In Al-Quran, he clearly explain that Alloh SWT create a differences not to make us enemy but He made it in order to we can know each other and become a family that live in peacefulness. And I`m sure that in all of religion in the world ,there are no religion which permit and teach their followers to make violence, to break others` right legally . So, the key factor that can lead this world to be better than now is our own awareness to be a good man, who understand the meaning of differences, and know about how to love each others.
No word violence in 2009 ( when the writer finished this article, Israel military soldiers attacked the citizens in Gaza Line, Palestine. Almost 200 people dead in this Israel`s aggression. We hope for the better live in Palestine ).Through this new year momentum ,we must together to realize the peace condition in our world. And I have a message for you all who read this writing, Peacefulness will be gained by our own intention and effort to realize that.
